Last week we went along to the specialist children's shoe store to get new school shoes fitted. Both James and Sienna needed half size fittings and they specialize in them at Tammy's at Chermside. When you arrive you take a number like in Coles and wait your turn as there are lots of mum's doing the same thing. We only had to wait about 10 minutes before it was our turn and we were fixed up with a size 13.5 shoe for James and a size 12.5 for Sienna. Sienna was interested in making funny faces in the mirror while James was being attended to. I can't believe I will have both my children at school next week. Where did the time go!
At home we have the same sort of set-up, here in the country you can just wander into the shop at any old time and get what you need - it was a nice change this year! Exciting times ahead next week! :-)
