Linking up with Emma at The Beetle Shack for our Weekly Stills. I love this series as it's so great to look back on the week of our everyday life. School, dinners, playtime, routines and rituals, it's all good stuff.
Our weekly menu plan this week.
Sienna helping me peg the washing and using the trampoline step ladder to reach.
First day at our new school this week.
Sienna loves bugs and she found this little creature this morning. Funny thing was she had been playing with one earlier and lost it however, all morning she thought she was itchy under her shirt until she discovered this little fellow was actually on the inside of her shirt, he hadn't fallen on the grass after all.
This pretty flower is around the side of the house hanging down from the neighbours fence.
James and Sienna playing wheelbarrow antics this morning in the backyard.
Our first local residents free BBQ for our suburb this morning.
The "Ideas Clothesline" so everyone could write things down they would like to see in our suburb and then pin their ideas to the clothesline. It was such a lovely way to do it rather than popping a list into a box. Also everyone could read what people were wanting. Popular things people wrote down were Markets, a Library, a Swimming Pool, Outdoor Movie Nights etc. Some things would be easy to implement like "Movies in the Park" vs putting a swimming pool in however I think it's a great move for our area.
The kids getting a look at this spotted snake close up which apparently is not dangerous however I stayed well clear of it.
A trip for me to the Library this week.
I made some pasta for our dinner one night this week.
Homemade Zucchini Pie for dinner this week.
Weekend time on the iPad to chill out.
We are growing corn for the first time which is very exciting. In another 4 weeks or so it should be ready to eat.
Wow! Homemade pasta?! I'm Italian and I've never tried... Maybe I should! I'm browsing the homemade-healthy planet with blogs and books... Pasta could definitely be the next!
ReplyDeleteThe b/w of Sienna's hand is beautiful!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Barbara...the pasta is really easy and I just have a little basic $15 machine nothing fancy. I wrote about it over here.
