A trip to the Doctors
Yesterday I was getting stuck into ironing, sorting out washing, picking up kids craft activities, toys etc. and making headway when I got a call from the school letting me know that Sienna had bumped her head on a brick wall so had to head off to school and pick her up. The story, according to Sienna, is that the girls were playing dodge ball (where you throw the ball at the person and the person has to try and dodge the ball) and the ball hit her in the forehead and as she was standing near a brick wall the the force of the ball forced her head back and it hit the brick wall. The problem was that it wasn't the back of her head that was hurting it was the side of her head so we went off to the doctors and some head x-rays later we got the all clear that no bones were fractured however she has got a concussion and is staying home today and resting. Here's Sienna with one of her x-rays which I told her would be good for Halloween decorations because they look pretty scary.

ReplyDeleteAll good today and she wanted to go back to school but Doctors orders to stay home and rest. I am one of those lucky Mum's where my kids love school. Regards Kathy
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that must have been a hard thing for you all to go through ... Glad Siena is Ok - and a day at home with a loving Mum is always a welcome break, even if school is a happy place!
