23/52 - "The 52 Project"

James :   Doing some pencil drawings from a sketch book he got out from the library this week. 

Sienna :   This is "Box Girl" that Sienna made from the whipper snipper box as the body, weetbix boxes for her feet and a furby box for her head.  Since this photo was taken Box Girl now has red woollen hair in plaits.  Sienna made her on Sunday and they both jumped on the trampoline most of the afternoon.  Box Girl also likes to watch TV with James and Sienna in the evenings.  Sienna is very creative and all of this was her own idea with no assistance from me.  I love this about her and she happily makes up games and plays for hours.

My Photo Year Book for 2013 has been printed and arrived this week.

An example of one week's spread which happened to be the Royal Birth week.  Naturally I didn't take those photos but it is an historical event which went in that week.  It's hard to photograph this page with light hitting the pages but you get the idea.

This is Sienna's "Hotel" she made out of various boxes for "Sparky" her pencil sharpener.  It even has a disco ball.

James :   Heading off to his first school camp away at 6.30 am.

Sienna :   In the process of making a slide out of towels for her little hedgehog "sparky" to slide down.  Sparky's main job is a pencil sharpener and he is going everywhere with Sienna at the moment.

James :   Thrilled that I finally took him to the skate park.

Sienna :   Always entertaining herself playing outdoors mixing up some dirt and grass with water.  She put the glasses on after some dirt got in her eye from the wind.
