On the 20th August

I decided to have a look through my photos to see what things were like on the 20th August in the past and here's what I came up with:-

20th August, 2009 - James had to get 2 stitches in his chin in the evening.

20th August, 2011 - Sienna was home sick from school.  Look at her little eyes she was not well.

20th August, 2012 - Chocolate milkshakes after school to celebrate a big sports day carnival.

1.  Sienna making a very long paper chain which ended to the front door.

2.  Afternoon light in the study (and dirty windows at that).

3.  Last Saturday of the AFL 2013 season. (James is on the far left).

4.  BBQ sausages for dinner during the week.

5.  The Birthday girl and great friend.

6.   Alfresco Birthday celebration at North Shore Park.

7.   The beautiful table set up for the occasion.

8.   KWH - Kids were here.

9.   Sienna and her early morning breakfast of oats which she loves.

10. James and Sienna playing scrabble.

11. James giving the chickens some time out for eating out of the veggie garden.

Afternoon pictures

Last Sunday when we went down to the creek I took some pictures of the kids on this walkway bridge in the late afternoon light. 

A trip to the local park

My kids still love going to the park and climbing and exploring and when we were visiting the local creek last weekend we had a quick visit to the playground area.

I'm enjoying posting these weekly stills of our life in August, 2013.  The highlight of the week was attending a photography workshop with Tim Coulsen which was very inspiring.  He is a very talented photographer and a nice person and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day.

3.   Sienna and James (underneath the doona) at 5.45 am doing chain stitch crochet. They had both watched the crochet video and were sitting there quietly giving it a go when I came out to get a coffee.

Blue Skies

As I've mentioned before that we love cloud watching and yesterday's blue skies and clouds just looked amazing.
