STILLS: A WEEKLY COLLECTION (WEEK 28)

Linking up with Emma at The Beetle Shack for Weekly Stills.

My beautiful 8 year old daughter acting so cool and keeping warm in winter.

James was doing a little video of Sienna doing some karate and it was hilarious.

Rustic apple pie for dessert.

Some of Sienna's little friends.

James picking one of the lemons off our tree.

At the park cooking some sausages for lunch.

And a visit to the creek to skim stones however you have to find the good ones first.

All kids enjoy the swings and my two were having a great time on these swings.

Potted plants at Mum's place trying out a super low camera angle which I loved.

The super moon last night which was quite difficult to photograph but was more than happy with this shot.  I had to google how to photograph the moon, take the lens off auto to manual and then crop the entire photo so the moon is big enough in the photo.

Our local Farmers Markets.

Sienna, Tate and James at the Farmers Markets.

Sienna enjoying the animals at the animal nursery at the Farmers Markets.

28/52 - "The 52 Project"

Linking up with Jodi at Practising Simplicity to take a portrait of your child every week for 52 weeks.

"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2014."

James :   Enjoying his doing tricks at his favourite indoor scooter venue "Ramp Attack"

Sienna :  She created what she called "The Tree of Life" at Granny's place.  This was a branch which set up, put some rocks around the base of it and attached some pretty balloon pieces and leaves.

Family :  Our first local Farmers Market was held this morning and we stopped to get a picture on the hay bales at the end.

STILLS: A WEEKLY COLLECTION (WEEK 27)

Linking up with Emma at The Beetle Shack for Weekly Stills, the holiday edition.  I have lots more beautiful photos of Byron Bay which I'll post in the next few days as it will need it's own post.

We picked this lemon this week as it was finally ripe.

Sienna filling up the water balloons at the tap.

Her collection stored in the wheelbarrow.

Winter in Queensland's Coolangatta.

Sienna enjoying participating in a card trick at the Magic Shop at Coolangatta.

More tricks by the business owner and his daughter also did some tricks which was lots of fun.

James deciding on which "Bicycle Cards" to buy to do his tricks with.

And the Magic Book which was highly recommended comes with a DVD.  James used his pocket money to buy these two items which he was thrilled about as he has been wanting the "Bicycle Cards" and a book for a while now.

James and Sienna at the border of Qld and NSW.

And the three of us at the border....this textured concrete was difficult for the camera to focus as it just "grabbed on" to the concrete and not the people as it was so dominant but hey, it's the memory.

Sienna picking lots of tomatoes so they can ripen inside rather than having little bugs eat them.

Considering these plants self seeded, that's not a bad harvest of tomatoes in my opinion.

Sienna and Aunty Lisa going through her "portfolio" of Term 2 work.

Sienna and Aunty Lisa (my sister) reading stories that Sienna wrote and couldn't stop laughing. I love this picture.

Sienna checking out the early morning fog with me the other day.

Byron Bay Lighthouse which we visited the other day and I'm sure I haven't been there since I was in my late teens, early twenties so in other words....years.

Sienna checking out the view....it would have been better if Mum had got $2.00 out of her purse for her.

Yes, we walked down to the end of this spot which wasn't too bad however the return journey was another story....I think it took me 3 times as long to get back up to the top. OMG my legs the next couple of days were sore.

James at the most easterly point of Australia.

"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2014."

James :   In the magic shop buying some "Bicycle" cards which he has wanted for months.
Sienna :   Collecting some more shells for her "Shell Collection" on the beach at Byron Bay.

STILLS : A WEEKLY COLLECTION (WEEK 26)

Posting these pictures much later than usual as life has been busy.  This is what happened in our life a couple of weeks ago.  Linking up with Emma at The Beetle Shack for Weekly Stills.

James helping me out with my photography homework being a good model for my BBF (Back Button Focusing) practise during Karen Russells' "Focus" forum.

Sienna on her Ukulele giving us some tunes.

Celebration of Learning for Sienna's grade 3 class.

Last day of school before the holidays was PJ's day and "Chocolate" the teddy went along too.

Mummy and Sienna cuddles out at "Grilled" to celebrate the end of Term 2.

James and his burger ready to eat.

My Burger which was absolutely delicious and the chips with the herb seasoning was out of this world.

Patting the local horses and feeding them some grass. The kids are both happy and smiling in this photo which I love.  The horses are so funny because they love when you come over to pat them and one nudged Sienna in the back gently to let her know he wanted a pat as well.  It was so funny.

26/52 - "The 52 Project"

Linking up with Jodi at Practising Simplicity to take a portrait of your child every week for 52 weeks.

James :   Learning the guitar over the holidays with a friend's guitar we have borrowed.
Sienna :   Filling up water balloons to play with on the trampoline.
