STILLS: A WEEKLY COLLECTION (WEEK 24)

Linking up with Emma at The Beetle Shack for this week's stills collection.

Having a game of Scrabble after school.

And the finished game.

Sienna doing some Maths homework.

Having a game of UNO with James after school.

Sienna asked me if I had seen her bed today....and I said no...and then I went and looked and found this which made me laugh.  She had piled up all her stuffed toys at the top of the bed.

A few tomatoes in the veggie garden.

I made some more pizza scrolls for the freezer for the kids school lunches since they enjoyed them so much last time.

I give the kids their own typed packing list when we go away and it's up to them to tick the items off as they pack them. ie 2 tops, 2 shorts, 2 undies etc. When I came out the other morning I found this sight which made me laugh.  I had expected there to be two piles of clothes, one for James and one for Sienna however they had both laid everything out on the floor for me and this is what I found when I walked into the family room early in the morning.

Beautiful Queensland weather.

Winter in Queensland, it doesn't get much better than this.

Gold Coast looking towards Surfers Paradise.

Sienna and her creativity extends to the beach as well.

James having a walk on the beach.

Sienna going to collect some water in her bucket.

Granny (my Mum) Sienna, James and Aunty Lisa (my sister).

Granny (my Mum) Sienna, James and myself at Miami Beach, Gold Coast.

Sienna loving the beach.

James drawing some artwork in the sand using a shell.

Sienna was here.

  2. Great photos - so is it really that warm in queensland in winter? I'm excited - we are moving up there at the end of the year, looking forward to our tree change.

    1. Winter in the sun is great like at the beach...don't get me wrong, right now I'm freezing but on days when you are in the sun, it's just glorious. You will enjoy it here. Regards Kathy

  3. What a great collection of photos … lol ...at least you were able to see that they hadn't forgotten anything with their packing … and I'd just be impressed if my kids actually made their bed … well done Sienna :0)

  4. Your winter beach photos are glorious - even our summer ones don't look as good as this :). And your packing photo made me smile - aren't they so organised and helpful? Easy for you to check off the list. Lovely catch-up.
