Here's the other photos from our day at Currumbin Bird Santuary on Sunday. They have a big sandpit with dinasour bones (obviously reproduction ones) underneath the sand and the kids brush away the sand to reveal the dinsour bones. They were short on brushes so a bit of waiting had to happen. We also love feeding the kangaroos however as we did this after lunch time every single kangaroo was not hungry so the kids found that a bit frustrating because we had no takers on the kangaroo food....they were mostly laying around on the ground having a rest. I think out of about 30 kangaroos only 2 bothered to have a couple of mouthfuls. Must go and do that first thing next time rather than leaving it until later in the day.
